Dhoni. An Honest Class Apart

Greetings there,

Well I saw the defeat that India saw at the hands of Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup Final.

My take on the overall match: India had the whole match in hand, except for two mistakes:
1)Dhoni promoting Yuvraj up the order
2)India relying on Yuvaraj.

So these two factors lead to what I think India's defeat.
India as a young team is full of alternatives and options, some one or the other comes forward to take the stage with their unique skills, and this time India was at the receiving end with this new discovery of Sri Lanka's Mendis.
Well I know and can bowl like him ;-)

So the newer learning for India being someone from the playing eleven ensuring that he sees the match through! Well the next thing to achieve is to be ready to pick and face new challenge in any form. It can be Andrew Symonds blabbering, Gilchrists' batting, or Mendis' bowling, newer challenges will be thrown at teams, and the winning team would be the one who respects and resolves the challenge in a manner that favors their team ;-)

Coming to the title of this post. You have to salute Dhoni's way of playing(and not playing) cricket! Recently he made comments about the Indian team being made to play hard and longer than other cricket playing nations. True to the spirit of Indians, work relentlessly.
But now no one could imagine what he could come up with! In this rat race for getting in the playing 11, be it test or one-days, here comes Dhoni approaching the BCCI, telling them he is not available for the upcoming test series! U.N.B.E.L.I.E.V.E.A.B.L.E!

That's like respecting himself more than the rat race of cricket playing youngsters in India!
Way to go M.S.D :-)
